Change to armed group: On 9 April 2025, in Salingyi township (Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), a police lance corporal from Salingyi Myoma police station defected to the People's Defence Force - Yinmarbin District (battalion 16) along with his wife and daughter. He also brought a G3 rifle and five bullets with him. He was sent to a safe place.
