[Madagascar] Protests: Protest with intervention

On 1 April 2025, for the second consecutive day, hundreds of street traders, with banners and whistles, protested for several hours outside the town hall in Analakely, in Antananarivo - Arrondissement 1 (Antananarivo-Renivohitra, Analamanga), against the municipal ban on street vendors occupying sidewalks. Police officers launched tear gas, and no injuries were reported. Representatives of the traders met with the mayor, resulting in their demands being met.
