[Morocco] Strategic developments: Looting/property destruction

Looting: On 1 April 2025, unidentified armed men intercepted a Mauritanian gold miner vehicle by firing gunshots to the air near the Karezrez site in Polisario-controlled territory, location coded to a known controlled area by the Polisario Front, Mijek (Oued Ed-Dahab, Eddakhla-Oued Eddahab). The attackers robbed the victims a quantity of gold and were arrested by the Mauritanian gendarmerie a few days later.
