[Kenya] Riots: Violent demonstration

On 1 April 2025, residents, mainly landlords and tenants, disrupted a Ministry of Lands and Housing public meeting, with some torching a building, pelting stones, vandalizing, and looting property at the chief's camp in the Korogocho neighborhood of Nairobi - Ruaraka (Ruaraka, Nairobi) against the government's proposed eviction to pave the way for the construction of affordable houses in the area.
