平和的抗議

On 16 April 2025, about 20 members of the Article 9 Association Osumi protested in Kanoya, Kagoshima against the arrival and training of a V-22 Osprey from the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's Kisarazu Garrison (Chiba Prefecture). The Osprey flew to the Maritime Self-Defense Force's Kanoya Air Base in Kanoya City and conducted training there for the first time. Participants expressed concerns about the potential future deployment of Ospreys to Kanoya Air Base, the possibility of regular takeoffs and landings, and the associated militarization.
