[India] Strategic developments: Disrupted weapons use

Weapons seizure: On 3 April 2025, Manipur police, Assam Rifles and CRPF retrieved arms and ammunition belonging to unidentified armed assailants from S Mongpi ridges in Kangpokpi district (coded to Kangpokpi town, Manipur) amidst ongoing violence between Meitei and Tribal communities in the state. Recovered items included one 7.62 mm SLR with magazine, one .303 rifle with magazine, one single barrel gun, two 9 mm pistols with one magazine each, three ammunition of single barrel, three live ammunition of .303 rifle, one long range pompi bomb, five medium range pompi bombs, two short range pompi bombs, three tear smoke shells and one radio set (Baofeng) .
