[India] Protests: Peaceful protest

On 13 April 2025, people from the Kuki-Zo community, mostly women, members of ITLF and KSO staged a protest at Pholjang village (Churachandpur, Manipur) opposing the plan by the Umanglai Kanba Apunba Lup (UKAL) to conduct Ching-Kaba (Meitei) rituals at the disputed Thangjing (Meitei name)/Thangting (Kuki-Zo name) hills, amidst ongoing violence between Meitei and Tribal communities in the state.
