On 27 March 2025, hundreds of ultra-orthodox Haredi Jews, including some affiliated with the Yerushalmi Faction, demonstrated in Jerusalem (Judean Mountains) against Haredi conscription into the IDF. Demonstrators blocked traffic, threw stones and other objects at officers, shattered windows on buses, and clashed with police forces. Demonstrators also attacked firefighters at the scene who were attempting to put out objects that were set on fire during the demonstrations. Demonstrators also attacked a journalist at the scene. Police arrested two demonstrators. Six officers and one demonstrator were injured during the clashes.
