[Ireland] Protests: Peaceful protest

On 7 April 2025, at the call of Save the Beachfront, Our Village, Our Voice, Our Choice campaign, over 200 residents gathered at Ardmore Beach in Ardmore (Waterford City and County) to protest against the construction of a 1.2 million Euro water sports center on the beachfront. Protesters argued the project would destroy the natural character of the area and waste public funds.
