[Honduras] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 6 April 2025, in Esparta, Atlantida, unidentified armed men shot and killed a taxi driver while he was inside his vehicle in Las Americas sector. Following the attack, the taxi veered off the road and fell into a vegetated ravine. Authorities have not identified any suspects. The motive for the killing is unknown. 1 fatality.
