[Guatemala] Violence against civilians: Abduction/forced disappearance

On 9 April 2025, in Patzaj, Solola, a fourteen year old boy was abducted for ransom and the perpetrators demanded a Q500.000 ransom. The victim was travelling on a mototaxi when he was abducted. He was rescued in a police operation on 10 April and the a man and a woman were arrested as suspected kidnappers.
