[Ghana] Strategic developments: Looting/property destruction

Property destruction: On 26 March 2025, several dozen armed individuals, suspected land guards, on motorcycles, vehicles and 4 bulldozers entered the gated construction site of the Turkish company Arsan Group and destroyed the fence walls, offices and erected construction work in Borteyman in Accra (Accra, Greater Accra). They also stole the worker's phones, laptops, office air-conditioners, and the CCTV cameras and hard drives. The attack is believed to be linked to the owner of the Zoomlion enterprise, as the site has been subject to multiple attacks over the past 3 years, with the attackers claiming that the area belongs to the owner of Zoomlion.
