[Ghana] Protests: Peaceful protest

On 26 March 2025, traders chased away the Interior Minister and Asawase Member of Parliament in Adum in Kumasi (Kumasi, Ashanti) to protest against his attempt to support them with relief items following a fire outbreak at the market. They refused the donations of rice, cooking oil and soap and called for financial support and business recovery assistance instead of food donations.
