On 10 April 2025, OLF-OLA clashed with ENDF in Goro Dakonu (location coded to admin center, Awara, Abuna Ginde Beret (West Shewa, Oromia) and in Dakonu Sori kebeles (coded separately). OLF-OLA claimed to have killed 134 (uncorroborated), wounded and captured scores of ENDF soldiers in a coordinated operation. The armed group also claimed to have seized several weapons and an unspecified quantity of explosives and ammunition.
