On 10 April 2025, at the call of the Coordination of Workers of Andalusia (Coordinadora de Trabajadores de Andalucia - CTA) and the Association of Steel Workers (Asociacion de Trabajadores del Acero - CTA) workers held a protest in Cordoba (Andalucia) in support of the Acerinox workers committee, whose members were facing a lawsuit over the alleged illegality of a five-month strike in 2024. Protesters denounced what they described as the criminalization of union activity and expressed solidarity with the accused workers.
