[Ecuador] Riots: Mob violence

On 24 March 2025, in Ricaurte (Cuenca, Azuay), an unknown number of local residents organized as a vigilante group captured a man involved in a robbery earlier and stoned him to death. The killing was described as an apparent lynching and the victim was a drug user. Two suspects of the lynching were arrested. 1 fatality.
