[Ecuador] Explosions/Remote violence: Remote explosive/landmine/IED

On 6 April 2025, in Machala (El Oro), an unknown number of unidentified armed individuals blew up a commercial establishment on Guayas and Onceava Circunvalacion Norte Streets. One man was injured during the blast and several nearby houses were damaged. It is suspected the attack was a case of extortion. There were no fatalities.
