[Colombia] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 2 April 2025, in Campo Dos corregimiento (Norte de Santander), armed suspects shot and killed a motorcycle driver after intercepting him in the Pate Gallina sector, in a suspected extortion-related attack. The victim was a well-known business owner. There is no further information at this point in time. There is an ongoing territorial dispute in the area between ELN and 33rd Front FARC dissidents. 1 fatality.
