On 7 April 2025, pro-Palestinian demonstrators held a rally at Cavendish Mall in Montreal - West (Quebec) to demonstrate against a film screening of 'October 8' organized by Federation CJA. Pro-Palestinian supporters who entered the mall and interrupted the screening. Protesters were eventually moved and then left peacefully.
