On 1 April 2025, in Belize City, Belize, two men approached a man as he was standing in his yard on Iguana Street, before one of the two men revealed a firearm and fired two shots at the man, hitting him in the head. The victim was injured and brought to hospital in critical condition, where he died of his injuries the following day. Police described the attack as being tied to a feud between different factions in the area. The shooter was arrested on 21 April and charged with murder. 1 fatality.
