[Brazil] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 3 April 2025, in Maceio (Alagoas), unidentified armed suspects shot and injured a woman in the Santa Amelia neighborhood. The suspects knocked on the victim's door and fired against her once she opened it. The victim was a drug user, and it is suspected that her drug trafficking debts might have motivated the attack. The suspects escaped. The authorship and motivations for the attack are unknown. There were no fatalities.
