On 26 March 2025, in Ivirgarzama (Cochabamba), at least three police officers shot and killed the general secretary of the Unified Syndical Confederation of Rural Workers of Bolivia: CSUTCB and supporter of former president Evo Morales (FPVB), arguing self-defense. The former president denounced the attack via social media and denied the officer's version, arguing the victim was shot from behind and called for justice. The officers were days later arrested. There is no further information. 1 fatality.
