[Bolivia] Protests: Peaceful protest

On 3 April 2025, in Cochabamba (Cochabamba), a group of residents from Jark a Mayu neighborhood carried out a demonstration by throwing waste at the deputy mayor's office, starting a vigil, and blocking the Petrolera Avenue, protesting against the attempt to relocate the municipal landfill in their locality. The demonstration took place after 13 days of blockade at the current landfill demanding the closure of the site (coded separately), which has led to over 8,000 tons of garbage accumulated in the city.
