[Burundi] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 7 April 2025, SNR agents, dressed in police uniforms, beat and arrested a CNL party member in front of the Star Times, at the Iriho gallery in Bujumbura town (Mukaza, Bujumbura). The victim was taken away in a double-cabin vehicle with tinted windows, bearing the license plate E 0462 A. He was taken to the SNR detention cells, located near the Cathedral.
