[Bahrain] Protests: Protest with intervention

On 7 April 2025, a number of detainees released as part of the issued royal pardon held a sit-in in front of the Office of the Prime Minister in Manama (Capital) against the decision of the Ministry of Housing, such as changes in the housing request dates and the failure to provide retroactive housing allowances, and to demand their rights to obtain housing services. The protest was aimed at highlighting what they described as unfair and unconstitutional actions by the Ministry of Housing. Police forces arrived at the location, surrounded them and requested their ID cards, and brought them to a police station for interrogation. They were release after pledging to report to a police station if summoned.
