On 14 April 2025, JNIM claimed to have targeted a Burkinabe army vehicle with an IED between Di (Di, Sourou) and Tougan (Tougan, Sourou), location coded to Di. In another statement, JNIM said the vehicle was destroyed, and published photographs of the remains of the vehicle. Casualties unknown.
