Around 16 April 2025 (as reported), the Taliban killed a Hazara boy (likely following Shia Islam based on location) in Jaghuri district, Ghazni, accusing him of attacking a Taliban building. He was detained, tortured, and killed while in custody. The Taliban also arrested 12 of his relatives and banned funeral prayers during his burial. According to his family, he was innocent and targeted solely because he was Hazara.
