On 9 April 2025, an explosion carried out by AFF occurred near a Taliban checkpoint in the Golai Bagh area of Taluqan city (Taluqan, Takhar province). AFF claimed that the checkpoint was one of the places the Taliban authorities used to harass and bother the local people. Two Taliban members were killed and two others were injured in the operation. 2 fatalities and 2 injured.
